Wages & Overtime Pay
Under Cyprus law, wages and overtime pay are negotiated between the employer and the employee. There are, however, also particular industry sectors in which working time – and overtime payment – is governed by specific legislation and regulations.
An employee’s salary must be paid per week or per month, depending on the terms of the employment agreement, as set out in the Cyprus Protection of Salaries Law.
