Cypriot law follows the principles of English law. Under Article 51 of the Civil Wrongs Act Chapter 148, employers “must take the necessary measures in order to maintain the working environment in a safe condition”, which applies whether you work in an office, factory or construction site.
Your employer has a duty of care not to expose their employees to unnecessary risks, and must provide:
